Hands on with: The Nintendo Switch

Here are GameOver Gaming's impressions from the Play Nintendo Switch UK tour that kicked off last weekend in Birmingham. The 2 hour session was nearly enough time to sample all of the games on offer and get a good feel for the new hardware.
 
So the news from the event is generally good. Although many of us were surprised at the £280 price tag, the look and feel of the Switch itself does go some way to justifying the price. So most of us have left the school playground far behind us, but back in the 80’s to 90’s you had to pick a side: Sega or Nintendo. Just like football teams, you could only pick once and stick with it for fear of ridicule. It was a sign of weakness to admit that you like playing games on the rival system and arguments were basically a videogame version of top trumps.
